SILVER is a online boutique lifestyle surf sports retailer offering Naish, Quiksilver, Roxy, FCS & Reef products and we pride ourselves on giving the best possible professional advice and service for the products we sell. SILVER is the brand new name and look to what was K172.com - a surf shop which successfully grew and evolved over time but needed a make over and a new breath of life to take it to the next level.

SILVER is owned and run by Jan Sleigh & Frederic Salvanet.

As for clothing, shores, sandals, eyewear, watches and wetsuits – well Reef and Quiksilver offer some of the best and coolest gear around and we are passionate about these brands and immerse ourselves in them. We have also put together a rewards scheme – this gives you points when you purchase from SILVER and these points are redeemable against future purchases which gives you future discounts for repeat purchases.

Who is Silver?

SILVER is an online windsurfing and surfing retailer. SILVER is a trading name and is owned by Silver Surf Sports Limited.

Do you have Any Demo Kit Available?

Yes! You can pretty much demo all of the Boards and Sails we have available. There is occasionally limited availability in some sizes and on some models when stock is low or the products have sold out. We have a huge range of SUP boards for demo to suit all abilities. Demo Equipment is available for a day free of charge and is located in North Cornwall and North Devon. We also have some SUP demo board availability in London. Please email us for details. If you want to take the gear for more than one day then we have a small rental charge of £25 per day. This charge is returnable if you decide to purchase after you have tried the gear and will be taken off the purchase price of your equipment. We will take credit or debit card details as a deposit. This transaction is only completed if the equipment is not returned to us. What is your Rewards Scheme?

The Rewards Scheme is simple. Every time you purchase a product from SILVER you earn points that you can redeem against a future purchase. You even earn points on the products that you are redeeming against!

Do You Have a Bricks & Morter Shop?

No, not at the moment. We spend a lot of time zooming round the country trying to find the best waves in different and new locations, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, and occasionally tow in surfing. This means we are on the road a lot so being tied to a physical location is a pretty difficult thing to do.

I was a K172.com customer - Where are My rewards points?

All K172.com customer accounts have transfered to SILVER and all Rewards Points have been transferred as well. Simply log into your SILVER account with your previous K172.com account details.

Do You Sponsor Anyone?

At the moment no, but we are on the look out! We am keen to find some youngsters to sponsor and give a little boost, and maybe some more established riders – but be warned – we have done the whole sponsorship thing – and we are pretty demanding. We know what we want from our riders in return for sponsorship. We are currently looking for two SUP riders to be sponsored to compete in approximately six races in 2014 on Naish One Inflatable boards.

What Is Your Account?

Your account is your personal page – this is where you can see what Rewards Scheme points you have. This is also the page to log in to be able to make your purchase experience quicker and for you to register your details if you a first time buyer.

Why Do I Need To Register?

Once you have registered we are able to offer a more personalised service to help you find the product you need faster, you only need to register once. Registration to the site will also reduce the amount of information you need to fill in the second time you place an order.

Do You Accept International Orders?

Yes we ship internationally. All international orders carry shipping charges. But we work hard to keep these as low as possible. From time to time we run promotions on shipping.

Do You Sell Names & Addresses?

No – we respect our customers’ privacy. We do not pass on any information to third parties at all. Ever. Period.

I Want To Cancel My Order

Once you have transmitted an order with your credit card details, you cannot cancel it as we will have started processing it for delivery to you. Please make sure you are happy with the products you are ordering before you transmit your credit card details. However after your order has been processed please email us that you wish your order to be cancelled and we will process your request and prevent your order from being shipped to you.

Credit Card Security

SILVER is concerned about security and makes every effort to ensure our transaction process is safe and that your personal information is secure. SILVER transfers all your data using Secure Socket Layers, SSL is an advanced internet security system, to protect the data you provide. SILVER will hold all your data on our protected server, which is not accessible by the outside world.

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your goods have been dispatched.

In addition to these security methods for your security we use passwords, IP restrictions and information is stored behind a firewall.

How Do I Find What I’m Looking For?

We have tried to make navigation to products you might be interested in as easy as possible. Simply use the navigation menu on the left hand side to find the categories of products we offer and find the products within those categories. We have tried to make this as intuitive as possible. If there is something you specifically want that you cannot find please email us and we will do all we can to help you.

How do I Order?

Once you have found the product you wish to purchase, simply click the “Buy” button. This will take you to the shopping cart where you can change your order. You can continue shopping from here and add more products. If you are not an existing customer you will need to create an account before you check out – so that we can have all the necessary details to send your products to you and also assign loyalty points to your account.

Please note that we cannot dispatch orders until cheques have cleared which is normally 3 working days. Cash must be sent by registered post as we cannot be held responsible for non-receipt. Delivery

Silver commit to dispatch your order within 5 working days subject to stock level availability, any problems or delays we will contact you regarding your order and try to find an alternative solution

All our delivery quotes are based on working weekdays i.e. Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Orders have to be in before 12:00pm that day or the order will go out the following day.

The normal post option normally takes 2-5 working days (Monday - Friday). If you live in a far away location in the UK and Ireland please allow an extra couple of days for delivery.

We use Royal Mail for small and medium items parcels and Paisley Freight for SUP delivery in the UK and EU which allows finding the most cost effective service depending on your location. For SUP delivery outside of EU please contact fred@silversurfsports.co.uk , who will be able to advise you on the cost of the delivery pending on your location and type of SUP

Delivery usually takes at least 2-5 working days excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

There is no tracking with our standard dispatch however we are offering a proof of postage on demand. During check out Silversurfsports gives you the option to upgrade for a tracked shipment at extra cost. Tracking number will be emailed to you at time of dispatched. Please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the order.

Silversurfsports cannot be held responsible for any loss in transit that might occur with Royal Mail standard shipment on a standard delivery option.

Please note we cannot accept next day deliveries to the following areas Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Channels Islands and the Isle of Scilly we can only offer the a 3 - 10 working day delivery which will be charged at the rates that apply. Please ensure you are happy with the delivery option when ordering.

UK Deliveries 1 - 5 Days

In order to reduce delivery cost for SUP we are using Paisley Freight, which will allow us to provide you the best shipping cost pending on your requirements and your destination. Please note deliveries to all Islands such as Cyprus, Malta, Greek Islands, Canary Islands might carry extra cost and longer transit time.

Silversurfsports offers FREE DELIVERY within mainland UK & EU for all SUP, Windsurfing and Kitesurfing equipment such as boards, Sails, Mast and Boom. Canary Islands, Greek Island, Crete, Cyprus and all other EU island will be subject to shipping charges, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information and we will try to minimize the shipping cost as much as we can.

For any International shipment for SUP, Windsurfing and Kitesurfing equipment such as boards, Sails, Mast and Boom please note that shipping cost are not included. Please contact us and we will work to minimize the shipping cost as much as we can.

Returns

How Do I Return An Item?

SILVER wants you to be happy with your product, that's why we’ve made it very easy for you to return any item which complies with the conditions below. Goods returned for exchange or refund must in all respects be in the condition you received them in the original packaging with all tags attached. This offer applies for 14 days from the date of purchase and is in addition to your statutory rights. Please remember to always obtain proof of return and keep this in a safe place – we recommend a “Certificate of Posting” which is available free of charge at the Post Office.

If we cannot exchange an item (eg. it is no longer available), we will offer you alternative goods or a refund.

Please note:

You are responsible for the items sent back to us until we have received them through the post. If the Parcel goes missing before we receive it you must claim through the postage company. We suggest you insure your parcel with the post office or use recorded delivery, which can be traced.

Please note we do not refund the cost of postage.

Faulty Goods:

If you find the items are faulty then send them back in the same way but we will refund your postage costs and replace the items if stock is available

For non faulty returns an admin charge of at least £25 will be made. This charge is to cover our handling and postage costs, in the event a product has incurred us a higher postage charge we reserve the right to charge more.
